About Us
Green Fire Software was officially founded in the Summer of 2007 by Peter Robinson. We quickly attracted a few talented individuals and started building a few small games with the new Torque2D engine. Although we never released these games we learned enough to start on our first full project, Super Cell. We finished and released Super Cell in March of 2008. By that time our team had doubled in size and we were ready to take on something even larger, a strategy RPG.
Green Fire Today
Today Green Fire Software continues to focus on 2D games both for the Mac and PC. We've also branched into several other software fields including websites, custom software design, and large-scale web applications. Besides making our own games we also develop games for clients at very competitive prices. Our team is currently hard at work on our next big game, Pirate Code.
Our Philosophy
Every good game depends on a few important ingredients: solid game-play, simple concept, immersing story, stylized graphics, and fitting music. We try to take each of these elements and bring them together. When done correctly, we get great games every time!
We're Dependable and Affordable
Not every game company can claim to be both dependable and affordable. Green Fire Software was founded before the first official release of Torque2D so we have as much experience with it as anybody. We've managed software projects that are well in excess of six digits. At the same time our team is small so we're able offer our services at an affordable rate.
